Good addicts to fishing in kayak, this time I will give my opinion on the championships with selective fishing by species and with or without death.
In these two months I was able to attend two major events, one in Estepona, which was a maximum of 5 pieces per species and with death, and another was in Galicia (open of Ezaro), which was by species a maximum of 5 pieces and without death.
Well, from my point of view I encourage all the federations to do the championships with fishing for a maximum of 5 species and without death is a bit more complicated but very effective for the future.
I will tell more or less how they organized it in Galicia. The fishing area was divided into 5 sectors where each had a boat with a judge with a measurement table and a list of points by measure and species.
When it seemed you could weigh the rowing and the boats approached you and collected the pieces to measure them and return them to the water, so scoring the score they did it in any area because at the end of the day they added it and left the position where you stayed.
I personally loved this type of competition, where not only is catching a species and kilos, but it requires a preparation of different fishing techniques and different gear for each desired species and most important for me, after weighing the return of the pieces to their habitat.
Well addicted to fishing this is my humble opinion on the competitions that I hope more people and federations will practice in the not too distant future.
