Last weekend of July 3 and 4, 2021, Valencia hosted the National Kayak Fishing Championship . The event, called by the Spanish Federation of Fishing and Casting, and organized by the Fishing Federation of the Valencian Community, brought together more than 60 participants from different parts of the national territory who chose to lead a classification that was awarded with products of Galaxy Kayaks, sponsor brand of the tournament.
The test was carried out in two rounds, Saturday and Sunday, changing the scene. Two very technical and difficult locations that made the participants give their best to score with the captures.
José Juan González Soto , Valencian participant, was proclaimed champion of Spain after achieving 10,120 points, distributed in 4,710 points in the first round and 5,410 in the second. A great brand that was followed by two other Valencian compatriots: Jorge Fuertes Martí and Juan Segovia Toledo , with 8290 and 6695 points respectively. In addition, Jorge Fuertes won the prize for the largest piece with a beautiful Anjova weighing 4.5 kilos.

Galaxy Kayaks, as the main sponsor of the Spanish Kayak Fishing Championship, was the brand in charge of providing the prizes to the first three finishers and the winner of the largest piece.
The Spanish kayak fishing champion was awarded a fantastic Galaxy Supernova FX, a pedal kayak aimed at the most demanding fishermen. With a lot of space available and 4 meters long, it is fast and very stable.
The second classified, meanwhile, obtained as a prize a Alboran HV, an updated kayak that features a large built-in nursery and a geometry suitable for navigating in any situation.
The Galaxy Rider was the award given to the third placed in the Spanish championship. A small kayak, suitable for both fishing and walking, which provides great versatility and easy handling without compromising stability and comfort.
Finally, the winner of the largest piece now has a Galaxy Kayaks refrigerator, very useful for those long fishing days in which we need to keep drinks, food, or catches at a good temperature.
Andalusia, champion of Spain by communities
In addition to individual awards, the Spanish Championship also established classification criteria by autonomous communities. The Andalusian team , of the Andalusian Federation of Sport Fishing, was proclaimed champion with the scores obtained by Arsenio José Frías Hidalgo, Manuel Aroca Moreno, Francisco Javier Sánchez Torregrosa and Jesús Morales González. < / p>
The Valencian Community , made up of Juan Segovia Toledo, Alejo Frances Muñoz, Jorge Fuertes Martí and Antonio Pradillo, was second. And Murcia , with Jesús Valero, Felipe Sánchez, Fernando Pardo and Miguel Mellado, completed the podium as the third autonomous community by teams in Spain.
